The world is running out of fresh water and without water there is no life. There is water everywhere of course, but less than three percent is fresh and most of that is not recoverable for practical reasons, especially location. Fresh water demand is growing rapidly and water use in many areas of the world exceeds natures ability to replenish supplies.
